We’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract until 2039 Reports to: M&E Manager / Dartford Senior Engineer CPS - M25 based at Dartford (preferable) or Leatherhead or South Mimms with travel within the M25 DBFO project area. The role will be responsible for coordinating and managing design and construction activities across the two Dartford tunnels and QE2 Bridge. The role will provide technical input to challenge and propose solutions for upcoming projects including leading with method engineering reviews of design and framework subcontractors proposals. The working environment of the live operational tunnels and bridges provides multi-layered complexity for which innovative solutions are to be sought as we strive to improve safety by design. The role will support the CPS engineering team with design, design coordination, review Framework contractors’ proposals and manage external design consultants inline with the delivery priorities and programme. The role will require the individual to be able to both partake in design/method workshops for specific scopes alongside a regular (weekly) construction site presence to act as the interface between the site construction works and the design & engineering teams. Whilst onsite the individual will be responsible for checking activity Control Plans, specification compliance, QA records, Identify/raise NCRs and ensure Technical Queries TQs are raised, actioned and responded to with suitable solutions to support the project need. You will bring a wealth of advanced clinical experience in CYP and PICU nursing, combining authoritative practice, sound professional judgement and the credibility to influence across organisational boundaries. As the first postholder in this newly created role, you will have the freedom and influence to set the standard. We are looking for a nurse consultant with clear evidence of clinical innovation, research engagement and translating evidence into measurable service improvement. During Phase 1 of the pathway development the NC role will focus upon referrals where a GAU or a community referrer is requesting higher level of security or intervention for CYP. This project aims to reduce the escalation to the LSU pathway and implement an enhanced therapeutic inpatient model. Working collaboratively with providers and other stakeholders, the postholder will support the on-going development, implementation, and monitoring of the CYPMHS High Intensity provision, offering consultation, training, and support for clinicians with the management of complex presentations, primarily within GAU Tier 4 settings.
