Duties & Responsibilities: You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and evidence of CPD study on continuous improvement related subjects. This position will work cross-functionally with our Defence customer, key sub-contractors and the operations teams to be ensure the continuous improvement deliverables are of the highest standards so that we deliver products and services of the highest quality to our customers. Your responsibilities: • Lead continuous improvement projects of the assigned Leidos programme lines using PDCA/DMAIC or aligned methodology, focusing on cost reduction and efficiencies increase., • Conduct assessments to identify areas within Leidos where processes can be streamlined, costs reduced, or efficiency improved., • Support creation of detailed plans for implementing changes, including timelines, resource allocation, and communication strategies, utilising an existing CI Toolkit., • Support the Head of Compliance and Continuous Improvement in facilitating workshops, training teams, and coaching them on using improvement methodologies., • Chair the internal programme Continuous Improvement Working Group (CIWG), ensuring appropriate governance, stakeholder engagement, action tracking and escalation of improvement activity across the programme., • Coordinate, review and assure key subcontractor continuous improvement submissions, ensuring proposals are aligned to programme priorities, customer expectations and measurable benefit delivery., • Maintain evidence that the programme is delivering Plan-Do-Check-Act activity as set out in the Service Delivery Plans, using CI governance to demonstrate progress, assurance, lessons learned and sustained improvement. Description Business Operations Advisor Programme Name: Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Location: The role is based in our Bristol office, with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week; travel to our Bicester and Donnington offices will occasionally be required. The Role: The Team Leidos (TL) Business Operations Advisor is a senior member of the Operations Directorate within the Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation (LCST) programme. The role provides expert advice on Defence Supply Chain and LCST systems and processes, identifies inefficiencies, drives improvements and supports the delivery of service excellence. Success requires the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, guiding them through complex business operations challenges to achieve effective outcomes. Role overview of our Project Systems Architect This is a new role with significant responsibilities. We are seeking an experienced Project Systems Architect who will be a "key" colleague and responsible for the overarching design technical architecture and engineering solutions within Project Delivery. Information Flow Analysis & Process Architecture Analyse and document information flows, identifying data quality risks, governance challenges and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain business process models using BPMN and recognised process modelling techniques. Assess end-to-end information flows across engineering, project delivery, asset management and operational functions. Support the definition of information architectures, information lifecycles and data management frameworks. Collaboration and Problem-Solving Act as a bridge between business stakeholders, architects, developers and digital delivery teams. Guide business stakeholders through Information Management, PLM and ALM transformation initiatives. Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions and stakeholder engagement activities to resolve complex business challenges. Project and Workload Management Oversee a portfolio of 2–4 projects at a time, ensuring deliverables are completed to agreed quality, schedule and business objectives. Support the development of Information Management tools, processes, governance frameworks and guidance materials. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on digital adoption, process optimisation and information quality. Support testing, validation and acceptance activities to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements. Communication and Reporting Develop and present communication materials, training content and guidance documentation to support business readiness and digital adoption. Promote Information Management, PLM and digital engineering best practice across the organisation. Communicate complex technical and process concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to elicit, document and manage business, functional and information requirements. Experience supporting digital transformation and organisational change initiatives. Strong stakeholder management skills across multiple disciplines and organisational levels. Experience working within engineering, infrastructure, asset management or project delivery environments. Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, with the ability to create process flows, stakeholder maps and visual documentation. Excellent facilitation, communication and workshop leadership skills. Desirable Skills Experience supporting the implementation, configuration or business adoption of Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), Asset Suite 9 or similar enterprise platforms.
