This is a pure advisory role, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of private and corporate clients on complex tax planning matters.\n\nThe successful candidate will be ATT or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified) with experience in corporate tax within a practice environment, and a strong interest in advanced advisory work. You will join a collaborative and high-performing team, gaining exposure to a wide range of advisory projects across corporate, personal, and family wealth planning.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage a portfolio of advisory clients, delivering commercially focused tax planning solutions\nAdvise large corporate clients on UK and international tax matters, building and maintaining long-term relationships\nIdentify new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and client engagement\nSupport the management of client compliance obligations, including corporate tax returns and tax reporting\nWork collaboratively to solve complex client challenges\nLead and develop junior team members\nAdvise on corporate tax planning, including:\n\nGroup restructures, reorganisations, and demergers\nManagement buyouts and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)\nValuations and due diligence\nProfit extraction strategies (including BADR and loan note planning)\n\nProvide guidance on optimal business structures, including incorporations, partnerships, and investment structures\nSupport clients through transactions, including acquisitions and disposals\nDeliver personal and family wealth advisory, including:\n\nCGT and IHT planning (including trusts and family investment companies)\nResidence and domicile planning\nRemuneration and succession planning\n\nAdvise on SDLT, gifting strategies, and broader tax planning opportunities\nCollaborate with senior stakeholders on complex technical assignments\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of UK tax legislation and developments\nBuild strong client relationships through proactive communication and high-quality service delivery\nExperience & Skills Required\n\nProfessionally qualified (ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience\nStrong experience in corporate tax advisory within a practice environment\nExperience working with large corporate clients, including UK and international exposure\nSolid accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret statutory accounts\nStrong understanding of UK corporate tax, including tax computations, reporting, and group structures\nProven experience in advisory work such as restructures, transactions, and strategic planning\nExposure to personal tax advisory (CGT, IHT, residence, remuneration) is advantageous\nBackground within a Top 50 accountancy firm or reputable advisory practice preferred\nStrong technical skills with the ability to interpret complex legislation\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly\nProactive, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset\nConfidence in managing client relationships and delivering high-quality advice\nSalary & Benefits\n\n23 days holiday\nAdditional day off for your birthday\nEnhanced parental pay\nHealth cash plan\nDiscretionary annual bonus scheme\nCompany sick pay\nCompany pension scheme\nPerkbox subscription\nOne paid professional membership/subscription\nCycle to work scheme\nEmployee Assistance Programme
