Refrigeration Improver Location: London (covering surrounding areas) Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm We’re recruiting for a motivated Refrigeration Improver to join a growing commercial engineering business working across London and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within refrigeration and air conditioning, gaining hands-on experience across a varied commercial portfolio. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll support the delivery of maintenance, servicing, and repair works across pubs, bars, restaurants, and other commercial environments. The Role • Assist experienced engineers with planned and reactive maintenance, • Support servicing and repairs on commercial air conditioning systems, • Work on small refrigeration equipment including cellar cooling and under-counter units, • Attend breakdowns and help diagnose faults across commercial sites, • Complete job reports and maintain high service standards, • Travel across a manageable patch covering West London, Slough, and surrounding areas, • Learn industry best practices, compliance standards, and fault-finding techniques What’s on Offer • Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience, • Company van and fuel card, • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, • Pension scheme, • Ongoing training and development, • Clear progression into fully qualified engineer roles, • Stable commercial contract portfolio, • Supportive team environment, • Monday to Friday working hours About You • Previous experience within refrigeration, air conditioning, HVAC, or building services preferred, • F-Gas certification desirable but not essential, • Keen to develop a long-term career within refrigeration engineering, • Practical mindset with strong work ethic, • Good communication and problem-solving skills, • Full UK driving licence preferred, • Able to work independently and as part of a team Interested?
