We are looking for an experienced Substation/Transmission engineer, Senior wind turbine technician (with electrical and fault-finding experience) or other related engineer who is familiar with fault finding, electrical systems (high and low voltage) and ideally experience working offshore. KEY TASKS: Principle duties, accountabilities and responsibilities of the Asset Engineer will include: • Management of health, safety, environmental and contractor management, including undertaking audits of the O&M service provider and providing reports to senior management., • Managing and ensuring compliance with business objectives., • Management of outsourced Operations and Maintenance (“O&M”) providers, including where necessary procuring additional services and managing the associated contract., • Identification and mitigation of operational risks., • Ensure work is undertaken in accordance the Asset Management Strategy, identifying trends and providing improvement suggestions where appropriate., • Incident management and review, providing recommendations to senior management for all operational incidents / asset failures., • Reporting and/or assisting in the reporting to lenders, lenders technical advisor insurers, and regulatory authorities etc.; and, • Stakeholder management and representing DTUK with external bodies.
