Were looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our venue. Youll work closely with the general manager to lead the team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high operational standards across both bar and restaurant service. Key Responsibilities Support the General Manager in overseeing daily bar and restaurant operations Lead service on busy shifts, ensuring smooth coordination between FOH and BOH Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery Manage stock levels, ordering, waste control, and supplier relationships Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene standards Team Management Supervise, motivate, and support the FOH team Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing staff training Create a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture Handle staff rotas, shift planning, and performance feedback Guest Experience Ensure every guest receives warm, attentive, and memorable service Resolve guest issues with professionalism and confidence Promote a welcoming environment that reflects the venues values Support the development of service standards and guest-experience initiatives Financial & Administrative Duties Assist with cash handling, daily reports, and financial controls Monitor labour costs, stock usage, and operational efficiencies Contribute to achieving revenue targets and cost-control goals What Were Looking For Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team Confident managing both bar and restaurant operations Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Calm under pressure, organised, and proactive Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences Knowledge of licensing, compliance, and health & safety standards A positive attitude and a desire to grow within the business TPBN1_UKCT
