Overview A specialist ground investigation and drilling contractor operating across the UK is looking to appoint a Receptionist / Administration Assistant to support a busy office in Livingston. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the office and act as the first point of contact for clients, suppliers and site teams. Key Responsibilities • Answering and directing incoming calls from clients, engineers and site operatives, • Welcoming visitors to the office, • Data entry, including job information, delivery notes and records, • Filing, scanning and maintaining electronic and hard-copy records, • Ordering office supplies, PPE and general consumables, • Providing administrative support to project and site teams, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred), • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), • Ability to use initiative and manage workload in a busy environment, • Good organisational skills and attention to detail, • Professional, friendly and adaptable approach
