Safety, sustainability and care for our people are fundamental to how we operate, and we're now looking for a Head of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) to lead this agenda at a critical time for the business. The role Reporting to the Group QHSE Director, you'll set and lead the company-wide EHS strategy, ensuring a safe, compliant and environmentally responsible manufacturing and supply operation. This is a senior, highly visible role with influence across the organisation, supporting sustainable growth by protecting our people, products and sites. Key responsibilities • Lead and deliver the Group EHS strategy, aligned to business priorities and sustainability commitments, • Drive mid-to-long term safety and environmental programmes that embed strong culture, capability and behaviours, • Partner with senior leaders on investment planning for machinery safety, workplace environment and environmental infrastructure, • Own the EHS training, induction and Duty Holder competency framework across the organisation, • Lead the EHS digital agenda, working closely with IT, engineering and transformation teams, • Use data and insight to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement, • Provide leadership in the event of EHS incidents or crises, • Lead and develop the site EHS leadership community, holding leaders to account, • Significant leadership experience heading an EHS function within a regulated environment, • Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, • NEBOSH National Diploma / IOSH (or equivalent), • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead organisation-wide change, • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively
