General Spa Manager - London 3d Leisure, in partnership with Dolphin Square, located in the heart of London near Pimlico, is seeking an exceptional General Spa Manager to lead the spa and fitness operations with full commercial responsibility and a clear mandate to drive memberships, spa and treatment business performance. This is a senior leadership role for an ambitious and accountable spa and leisure professional who treats the spa as their own business — taking complete ownership of Club standards, treatment delivery, team performance, profitability, and the end-to-end guest experience. Dolphin Square’s exclusive fitness club and spa is entering the final stage of a significant transformation. The brand-new pool and spa facilities will reopen in June 2026, following an extensive refurbishment programme. Over the last 12 months, the site has already undergone a major upgrade including a fully renovated reception and changing rooms, an expanded gym, and the successful introduction of reformer Pilates. Once fully reopened, the Club will offer a refined, private environment for members, residents, and guests to work out, unwind, and indulge in premium spa and treatment experiences. Facilities will include a substantial pool and thermal spa area, expanded gym, four dedicated studio spaces, two squash courts, a tennis court, juice bar, and a high-quality treatment suite designed to deliver exceptional wellness and beauty services. The Role As General Spa Manager, you will be fully accountable for the strategic direction, operational delivery, and commercial success of the spa and fitness club, with a particular focus on maximising memberships, spa and treatment revenue. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the spa’s identity developing a compelling treatment offering, driving therapist performance, and positioning the spa as a destination for members, residents, and external guests. You will lead from the front, set the benchmark for service excellence, and ensure the spa delivers both outstanding member and guest satisfaction with strong financial results. Key Responsibilities Memberships, Spa & Treatment Commercial Performance • Drive memberships and overall income to achieve the financial targets agreed, • Take full ownership of the spa and treatment business, including revenue, margins, cost control, and profitability, • Develop and implement a commercial spa strategy to maximise treatment utilisation, therapist productivity, and average spend, • Drive treatment and retail sales through pricing strategy, promotions, packages, and seasonal campaigns, • Identify opportunities to grow the spa business through memberships, external guests, partnerships, and events, • Oversee treatment menu development, ensuring it remains relevant, profitable, and aligned with brand standards, • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing spa and fitness team, including the fitness management, fitness instructors, therapists and spa reception, • Set clear performance expectations and hold the team accountable to targets, service standards, and KPIs, • Create a culture of ownership, professionalism, and continuous improvement across the spa, • Set and maintain exceptional standards, ensuring every guest journey feels seamless, personalised, and premium, • Ensure the Club, treatment rooms, wet areas, and relaxation spaces are immaculately presented at all times, • Own all spa and club operations including scheduling, rotas, stock control, product management, and maintenance, • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and industry regulations, • Monitor and analyse Club and spa performance data, KPIs, and financial reports, implementing actions to drive improvement, • Work closely with 3d Leisure and Dolphin Square stakeholders to align spa strategy with wider business objectives, • A proven General Spa Manager or Senior Spa Leader with experience in treatment-led environments, • Highly commercial, with a strong understanding of spa revenue drivers, therapist productivity, and yield management, • Exceptionally organised, proactive, and accountable — you take responsibility for results, • A confident and inspiring people manager who builds engaged, high-performing spa teams This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a newly refurbished, high-profile spa operation, with the autonomy to shape its future and drive its success as if it were your own business.
