As the company continues to grow and evolve, it is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their team at their Ellesmere Port site. As the Maintenance Engineering Manager you will have the responsibility to be the driving force behind a high performing, multidisciplinary engineering team. This will give you the opportunity to contribute to products and technologies that have far-reaching impact across multiple industries. How you’ll add value: • Lead, coach, and develop a high performing maintenance team., • Set clear priorities that align with production, maintenance, and safety goals., • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement., • Oversee root cause analysis and long term corrective actions to boost equipment reliability., • Improve asset performance by partnering closely with maintenance and ensuring strong engineering standards., • Optimise processes to enhance throughput, yield, energy efficiency, and product quality., • Use data to identify bottlenecks and implement effective, lasting solutions., • Lead capital projects, including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and commissioning activities., • Champion a strong safety culture and support risk assessments, HAZOPs, and compliance initiatives., • Collaborate cross functionally, advising leadership on equipment condition, risks, and long term planning. About you: • You will have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field., • You will have experience in a heavy industry environment, • Proven leadership of engineering or technical teams., • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment (furnaces, mills, casting lines, cranes, hydraulics, automation)., • Experience in project management and continuous improvement.
