We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer in Shotto, Flintshire. The role involves training and working at several of our client’s premises to provide holiday and sickness cover, with the possibility of a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise. We are a recognised Real Living Wage Foundation partner and Social Enterprise, offering a wide range of industry‑leading benefits, including: • Company sick pay scheme, • Paid SIA license renewals, • Enhanced Family Leave Pay, • Cycle to Work Scheme, • High staff discounts & rewards scheme, • Access to Digital GP, • Excellent pension scheme, • Death in Service – £5,000, • Recruitment bonus scheme, • New business lead scheme, • Employee assistance programme, • Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus., • A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential., • A full UK manual driving licence – essential., • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels., • Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure., • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft software packages (e.g., Excel)., • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards., • Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and customer requirements., • Ensure that all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site., • Record the entry and exit of deliveries whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures., • Ensure that patrols are carried out to the correct standards., • Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable., • Comply with site waste management procedures., • Complete documents as required, including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports., • Maintain familiarity with assignment instructions, risk assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve., • Maintain your own training records via Corps Colleague Portal such that your skills remain up to date, in particular your first aid and fire marshal training being in accordance with legislative guidelines., • Continuously apply your SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism. Your SIA licence must always be displayed., • Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
