One of my clients has a project coming up in the Norwich area, it is a highway/Civil Engineering scheme- comprising groundworks and structural elements, particularly reinforced concrete. I am looking for a civil engineering Project Manager for a fairly imminent start. The main contractor is hoping to mobilise on site in 3-4 weeks so my client can take someone pretty much straight away so you can get organised before then. This is a full time opportunity and m client has plenty of work going forward to keep you busy. Salary wise we are looking at £70-80 k p/a depending on experience and qualifications. Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and local stakeholders. Represent the contractor positively on site at all times. Candidate Requirements Essential Experience Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering residential projects. Background working for a main contractor (experience within PLC contractors highly desirable). Experience managing volume housing or multi-unit residential schemes. Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site logistics. Qualifications SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred) First Aid at Work Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent experience) Technical Skills Strong understanding of UK building regulations and NHBC standards.
