We're looking for a Project Director to join our Natural Resources team, to become a core member of our Thames Water framework. \n \n Location: working from home on site overseeing a major WTW project in Surrey, Hogsmill WTW - some travel to Gerrards Cross office also required \n Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know \n \n Responsibilities \n We're looking for a Project Director to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit. The role will provide leadership to a large-scale project of critical importance to our client. The project will involve the design, construction, and commissioning of Thames Capital Works. The project aims to upgrade the wastewater treatment capacity and meet stringent environmental regulations, whilst also ensuring long-term sustainability and community benefits without disruption to the network. \n Your day to day will include: \n\n • Develop collaborative and effective client management relationships to mutual benefit through anticipating client needs, exceeding expectations, and fostering open communication.\n, • Provide overall leadership and direction for the project, ensuring it meets all objectives within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.\n, • Develop and implement a comprehensive project management plan, including risk management, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement strategies.\n, • Manage project budget and track all expenditures with strict accountability.\n, • Oversee design and construction activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.\n\n What are we looking for? \n This Project Director is great for you if you have: \n\n • Extensive project management experience and delivery of high value infrastructure projects.\n, • Able to demonstrate experience of leading large, complex infrastructure projects, preferably in the water/wastewater industry.\n, • Proven track record of client relationships and securing work on major infrastructure schemes.\n, • Degree qualified in a related field and proficient in project management software and construction documentation tools.\n\n \n We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! We're looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our Natural Resources team, working on a major project in the Thames Valley region at Hogsmill in Surrey. In this role you'll oversee the design phase of construction projects on wastewater treatment upgrades and resilience works. \n \n Location: Working from home and site/offices as and when required with main focus being the Hogsmill site in Surrey. Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know \n \n Responsibilities \n We're looking for a Senior Design Manager to join our NRNN business unit. You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the design phase of civils based construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This work is with Thames Water on their sewage treatment Waste Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP), for new and existing infrastructure assets (below ground) and non-infrastructure assets (above ground). \n Your day to day will include: \n\n • Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other design consultants to develop comprehensive design solutions.\n, • Reviewing and approving design drawings, specifications, and other project documents.\n, • Ensuring adherence to design standards, building codes, and client requirements.\n, • Developing and implementing effective design management processes and procedures.\n, • Monitoring design progress and identifying potential issues or risks and managing design change control and documentation.\n\n What are we looking for? \n This Senior Design Manager is great for you if you have: \n\n • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.\n, • Proven experience as a Design Manager or similar role in the civils / construction industry.\n, • Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.\n, • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).\n\n \n We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
