The role Joining the sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving membership growth across the early years sector. You will introduce these solutions to prospective and existing customers, helping nursery schools and groups enhance professional development and educational outcomes. Your primary focus will be to expand the company’s presence within the nursery market by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key decision-makers across early years settings. Through targeted outbound prospecting and effective management of inbound enquiries, you will identify customer needs, understand the challenges they face, and qualify high-quality sales opportunities. You will research target organisations and buyer personas, deliver a consultative sales approach, and guide prospects through the digital acquisition and sales journey. Working collaboratively with internal teams, you will maintain a healthy sales pipeline, convert opportunities into long-term customers, and help achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets. Day-to-day includes: • Proactively engage nursery schools and groups through personalised emails, cold calling, marketing campaigns, and other channels to introduce our membership offerings, • Support and optimise digital sales activities for the nursery sector, working closely with Marketing on targeted campaigns for Early Years providers, • Manage the full sales cycle, identifying, engaging, and converting prospects using platforms such as LinkedIn and HubSpot, • Qualify and progress leads through the sales and digital pipeline, guiding prospects from initial enquiry to conversion, • Build strong relationships with nursery owners, directors, and managers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions, • Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot, ensuring customer interactions and pipeline activity are up to date, • Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams by sharing customer insights to strengthen campaigns and messaging, • Research and attend nursery conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to build relationships and generate new business opportunities The company is passionate about helping organisations grow and thrive through knowledge and connection.
