IOS is a medium to high complexity, capital maintenance and enhancement, Civil and MEICA, design and build delivery unit working across Water and Water Recycling to support the successful implementation of the Anglian Water AMP 8 business plan.HSE AdvisorThe RoleAs an HSE Advisor, you will support a number of projects to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety & Environmental Management systems. You will assist the site teams and managers through your inspections by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks whilst creating, maintaining, and improving health, safety & environmental standards. You will champion HSE initiatives in the workplace whilst ensuring that legislation is adhered to.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the provision of Health & well-being within the business, under the direction of the HSE ManagerSupport the communication and promotion of the monthly themesPromote the value of occupational health at a local levelProvide consistent and accurate HSE advice to employeesDeliver support to regions on HSE initiatives/Issues and ProblemsContribute to general communications at a local levelCompile and communicate HSE alerts following incidents to promote learning, prevention and continual improvement under the direction and review of the HSE ManagerUndertaking timely investigations in accordance with the timeframes set out in CG151-01 Guidance on Incident Investigation & ReportingKeep the HSE Manager, Head of HSE and local management informed on the incident investigation statusIdentify Immediate, Underlying and Root causes within relevant investigation reportsProduce HSE alerts where appropriate in consultation with the HSE ManagerMonitoring, verifying & supporting the reporting of HSE statistics for regions monthly as directed by the HSE ManagerLog all significant PIs, Minor Injuries, RIDDORS, SIF and PSIF incidents onto Envoy, completing the investigation (for significant PIs, RIDDORS, LTis, SIF & PSIF and Service Strikes with the potential to cause harm)Support the production of a monthly HSE report for the HSE Manager and the Regional Lead, incorporating locally agreed information and contentEnsure internal and external HSE alerts are cascaded within regions where appropriateSupport monitoring of regional HSE trends, highlighting areas for improvement and supporting Heads of HSE, HSE Managers and Regional Leads on improvement deliverablesSupport the production and cascade of monthly PI posters with closing the loop informationProvide monthly HSE statistics as directed by the HSE Manager and ClientFeedback updates for HSE matters detailing Incidents, Front Foot activities, and High-Risk sites from the Region to the HSE Manager in readiness for the weekly HSE Teams callsLog Cardinal Rule non-conformances emanating from Detailed Inspections onto Envoy, linking responsibility for closure.
