Curtis Toyota Ballymena is a family-run Toyota dealership with over 40 years’ experience serving customers across Northern Ireland. We pride ourselves on being approachable, honest, and supportive, with a strong focus on long-term relationships and staff development. We are now looking for a Sales & Marketing Trainee to join our Ballymena team. This is an entry-level role designed to give hands-on experience across both sales and marketing, with clear progression opportunities. The Role This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how a successful car dealership operates and build a long-term career. You will be trained and supported by experienced team members and gain exposure to both customer-facing sales activity and behind-the-scenes marketing. Key responsibilities include: • Observing and supporting the sales team in day-to-day showroom activity, • Learning how customer enquiries, appointments, test drives, and handovers are managed, • Assisting with preparing vehicles for sale, including presentation and forecourt standards, • Helping with vehicle photography and short videos using dealership software and tools, • Supporting online listings and basic marketing activity, • Gaining an understanding of CRM systems, compliance, and customer follow-up, • Developing product knowledge across Toyota and used vehicles Over time, this role can progress into either a Sales Executive position or a Marketing-focused role, depending on strengths and interests. What We’re Looking For • A positive attitude and willingness to learn, • Good communication and people skills, • Comfortable using computers and basic IT systems, • Interest in cars, customer service, or marketing, • Reliable, organised, and keen to develop professionally, • Full UK driving licence No previous motor trade, sales, or marketing experience is required as full training will be provided.
