Site Manager Day rate: £275–£300 DOE Contract: 2–3 months (with potential for further work) Start: Monday 9 March 2026 Location: Cardiff Overview We’re seeking an experienced Site Manager to run day‑to‑day operations on a Cardiff project with a strong focus on waste control, segregation, and removal. You’ll drive H&S and environmental compliance, coordinate trades and licensed waste carriers, and keep programme and housekeeping standards on track. Key responsibilities • Lead daily site operations; coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and waste partners, • Own waste management: segregation plans, skip schedules, collections and logistics, • Ensure Duty of Care compliance (waste transfer/consignment notes, carrier checks), • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental controls, • Drive H&S: inductions, RAMS, permits and toolbox talks, • Keep accurate site records: diaries, progress updates, photos and reports, • Liaise with the project team on access, deliveries, interfaces and programme What you’ll need • Proven Site Manager experience with hands‑on waste management responsibilities, • SMSTS and CSCS (manager/supervisor level); First Aid preferred; Asbestos Awareness beneficial, • Strong knowledge of waste regulations and working with licensed carriers, • Excellent communication, organisation and documentation skills, • Availability to start w/c 9 March 2026 in Cardiff for 2–3 months What’s on offer • £275–£300 per day, experience‑dependent, • CIS or Ltd company payment options (weekly), • Potential for further assignments (not guaranteed)
