Job Title: HR Manager (Standalone) Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Location: Middlewich, Cheshire Working Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, Office Based \n My client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the delivery of a professional and proactive HR function. This is a varied generalist role, supporting the business across employee relations, compliance, performance management, engagement and organisational development. \n Key Duties \n\n • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management and offboarding.\n, • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees on all employment-related matters.\n, • Lead employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance issues.\n, • Coordinate key HR processes, including probation reviews, employee changes and maintaining accurate HR records.\n, • Support managers with performance reviews, development planning and HR best practice.\n, • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.\n, • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and maintain HR policies and procedures.\n, • Produce HR reports and metrics to support business decision-making.\n, • Support workforce planning, succession planning and talent management activities.\n, • Review and improve HR processes, systems and procedures.\n, • Work closely with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate employee information.\n, • Support organisational change, restructuring projects and wider business initiatives.\n, • Coordinate internal communications and promote employee engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity and inclusion.\n\n Requirements \n\n • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.\n, • Proven experience managing employee relations matters independently.\n, • Experience with TUPE transfers, both incoming and outgoing.\n, • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.\n, • Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office.\n, • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.\n, • Positive, proactive and adaptable approach.\n\n Desirable \n\n • CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.\n, • Minimum five years' HR generalist experience.\n, • Experience working within a fast-paced environment.\n, • Previous involvement in organisational change initiatives.\n\n If you're an experienced HR professional looking for a broad and influential role where you can make a real impact, please apply today and I'll be in touch to discuss the opportunity in more detail. \n
