The traineeship is completed in 4 easy steps, Step 1 - IOSH - Managing Safely Here you will learn about the basics of health and safety. Step 2 - NEBOSH Now you will decide whether you would like to study the NEBOSH General, Construction or the Fire Safety course, depending on the path that you intend your career to follow. You will have an expert tutor on hand if required. Step 3 - Risk Assessments You will write a series of risk assessments that need to be up to a workplace standard. This is a requirement to gain your NEBOSH certification. Step 4 - NEBOSH Exams The exams can be sat in one of the official NEBOSH testing centres, or online. (Online only currently available for general certificate). Your Job Upon Completion Once you have completed all of the mandatory training and exams, we will place you into an entry level health & safety role as either a advisor, officer or coordinator, where you will be guaranteed a starting salary of £25K-£45K. Experience & Skills Experience of undertaking repairs and maintenance in a domestic residential environment or as a general builder /residential construction in the following trades; plumber, electrician or carpenter Experience of installing and maintaining hot and cold water systems, sanitary appliances and soil and waste drainage. Experience of installing and maintaining electrical systems and fire alarm, emergency lighting and security systems.
