Join our Integrated Sexual Health Service, where you’ll combine clinical expertise within our clinical hubs across Leicestershire & Rutland, with meaningful outreach—providing high-quality care to some of the most vulnerable and high-risk groups in our communities. This is more than a clinic-based post. As well as working within our sexual health hubs, it’s an opportunity to take sexual health expertise INTO the community: working with people who face the greatest barriers to accessing care, and ensuring they are supported , empowered, and protected. Why This Role Is Unique A Clinical & Outreach Blend You will work autonomously as an expert sexual health nurse, delivering specialist interventions both inside clinic and out in the community. Your work may include: • Targeted outreach to high-risk groups (e.g., people experiencing homelessness, young people, sex workers, migrants, victims of exploitation). You will play a key role in shaping how the service evolves—contributing to service development, audit, policy updates, and evidence-based practice improvements. What You’ll Bring • NMC registration and experience as a Sexual Health Nurse, • STIF Intermediate and DFRSH qualification, • Strong autonomous clinical practice and decision - making skills., • Experience or passion for working with vulnerable or high-risk groups., • A drive for continuous improvement and innovation in sexual health., • The ability to lead , support , and influence across the nursing team., • A commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and excellent patient care., • Non-medical prescriber or experienced user of PGD’s in a non-clinical environment.
