In this pivotal role, you will oversee internal and external quality performance, lead compliance with IATF 16949 and AS9100D, and spearhead our Quality Strategic Plan. Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and execute the Quality Strategic Plan., • Drive improvements in key business KPIs, working closely with the local management team., • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process capability and reduce scrap, COPQ, and customer concerns., • Act as the Manufacturing Systems Expert (MSE) and champion Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA)., • Own and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and AS9100D quality management systems., • Lead all customer, certification, and regulatory audits, ensuring full compliance at all times., • Promote a zero-defects, right-first-time quality culture across the organisation., • Oversee PPAP and FAIR submissions and support APQP and new project launches., • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer escalation, building strong collaborative relationships., • Train, mentor, and develop employees on quality standards and best practices., • Lead QMS management reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement., • Stay up to date with changes in industry standards and regulatory requirements., • A strong people leader with a passion for doing the right thing., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills., • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in automotive and/or aerospace manufacturing., • Background working in manufacturing environments with strong attention to detail., • Ability to manage deadlines, prioritise work, and thrive under pressure., • In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100D requirements., • Experience leading audits (internal, customer, and third-party) and interacting with regulatory bodies., • Knowledge of Epicor ERP or similar systems., • Understanding of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 standards., • Have a direct and meaningful impact on the quality and performance of our products., • Lead a talented team with the autonomy to drive change and shape the future of the quality function.
