Where will you be working? Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields. Due to an increase of work across the UK, we are seeking an Airfield Technician. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? You'll be Installing, maintaining and repairing AGL systems including runway and taxiway lighting, approach lighting, PAPI/VASIs, signage, and associated systems. You'll carry out fault diagnosis, electrical testing, and commissioning of AGL circuits in compliance with CAP 168, ICAO Annex 14, and other relevant standards.Ensuring strict adherence to airside safety procedures and airport operational requirements. Also, you will read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and site plans.Liaising with project managers, engineers, and airport operations teams to support efficient project delivery. As an Airfield Technician you'll complete and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation (RAMS, permits, test results, etc.).Assist with night shift or out-of-hours work as required to minimise operational disruption and travel overnight stays required for work at multiple UK airport sites.
