KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare, cook and present food consistently to the required standard., • Ensure all dishes are produced according to agreed recipes, specifications and portion controls., • Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality., • Complete food preparation ahead of service and ensure the kitchen is fully prepared for each trading session., • Work efficiently during busy services while maintaining quality and standards., • Ensure all food is stored, labelled, dated and rotated correctly., • Follow FIFO stock rotation procedures., • Complete and maintain all required food safety, temperature and HACCP records., • Maintain excellent standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene., • Ensure equipment, preparation areas, fridges, freezers and storage areas are kept clean and organised., • Assist with deliveries, stock control and stock rotation., • Minimise food waste and help maintain appropriate food margins., • Report maintenance, equipment or food safety issues immediately., • Follow allergen procedures and ensure allergen information is understood and correctly communicated., • Comply with all company policies, health & safety requirements and food hygiene legislation., • Work closely with the General Manager and wider venue team., • Support other kitchen team members when required.
