Senior Development Chef - Annabels We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative Senior Development Chef to join the culinary team behind Annabel's , part of The Birley Clubs . The Birley Clubs are home to some of the world's most iconic private members' clubs, including Annabels, Harry's Bar, Mark's Club, George and The Bath & Racquet Club. As Senior Development Chef , you will play an integral role in shaping the future of our culinary offering. Working alongside the Development Head Chef, you will research, create and refine innovative dishes and concepts across the Group, whilst supporting the delivery of exceptional events ranging from intimate chef's tables and canapé receptions to spectacular banquets for over 1,000 guests This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who thrives on creativity, enjoys working with the very best seasonal ingredients and is passionate about pushing culinary boundaries while maintaining the exceptional standards synonymous with The Birley Clubs. The key responsibilities will include: Collaborate closely with the Development Head Chef to create, test and refine new dishes, menus and food concepts Research emerging food trends, seasonal produce and innovative techniques to inspire new menu development. Support the planning and execution of bespoke events, from exclusive canapé receptions to large-scale banqueting for over 1,000 guests. Produce exceptional food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, creativity and impeccable presentation. Work closely with the Development Head Chef and Event Managers and operational teams during the planning and delivery of events. Assist with recipe development, costings, specifications and menu documentation. Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timelines. Maintain the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and due diligence, including delivery checks, temperature records and HACCP compliance. Support product tastings, menu presentations and culinary trials for senior stakeholders. Contribute ideas that enhance the dining experience across Annabels. To provide support with other Back of House operational, management and administrative duties as required to meet business needs Please note that this job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. We Are Looking For Someone Who: Has previous experience as a Senior Chef or Development Chef within a luxury restaurant group, five-star hotel, private members' club or premium events business. Has a genuine passion for food innovation, menu development and seasonal British and international produce. Demonstrates exceptional culinary skills with experience across a broad range of cuisines and cooking styles. Is highly creative with a natural curiosity for emerging food trends and contemporary techniques. Thrives in both kitchen development environments and high-profile event operations. Has outstanding attention to detail and consistently delivers food of the highest quality. Is organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with chefs, event teams and senior stakeholders. Has excellent knowledge of food safety, HACCP and kitchen best practice.
