The Challenge: Our business is scaling rapidly – revenue, customers, and headcount are all growing fast. With this comes the challenge of turning rich data into clear, actionable insight. We need sharper visibility into our growth levers: how ARR evolves, where we’re most efficient, and how to invest with confidence. At the same time, we must maintain tight control over spend and cash, balancing ambitious growth with disciplined execution. To do that, we need to build out our FP&A capability — delivering accurate forecasting, insightful analysis, and SaaS metrics that drive better decisions across the business. The Role: We are looking for our first FP&A Manager to help build and own our financial planning and analysis function. Working directly with our Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we understand, plan, and forecast our business. This is a highly visible and impactful role, blending hands-on financial modelling, business partnering, and data-driven storytelling. You’ll work closely with leaders across GTM, Product, and Operations to connect strategy to numbers – and numbers to action. Here’s what you will be responsible for: • Build and maintain dynamic, driver-based financial models covering revenue, costs, and cashflow., • Develop and own SaaS metrics forecasting including ARR metrics (gross and net dollar retention), CAC, LTV, payback, R&D efficiency and Rule of 40, both at top level and cut by various dimensions (sector, geo, product, etc.)., • Create and manage cost forecasting and headcount models, ensuring visibility and accountability across teams., • Deliver cash forecasting and runway analysis, supporting leadership in capital planning and funding strategy., • Partner with Sales, CS, and Marketing to translate business activity into financial outcomes., • Lead variance and performance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities., • Create and refine internal dashboards and KPIs and assist with Board and Investor reporting., • Support strategic planning and scenario analysis (e.g. hiring pace, pricing, fundraising, new product investment). Your skills & Experience: Must-haves to be successful in this role • Excellent communicator who enjoys partnering cross-functionally with non-finance teams., • Naturally curious and motivated to understand what drives the numbers - not just report them., • Strong problem-solving, commercial mindset with the ability to balance analytical rigour with pragmatic business judgement., • Comfortable operating in a scaling, fast-changing environment with competing priorities., • Proactive, self-starting, and eager to improve processes, tools, and insights continuously., • Demonstrable experience in FP&A or commercial finance in a B2B pure SaaS business, either as the first, hands-on FP&A role or as part of a small finance team., • Proven ability to build and manage integrated financial models (P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow)., • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics and unit economics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, etc.)., • Understanding of cash management, scenario planning, and capital efficiency in growth-stage companies., • Track record of producing accurate cash and cost forecasts and partnering with teams to manage spend., • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to design scalable financial models., • Excellent analytical and storytelling skills - able to translate complex data into clear insights. Nobody can do everything but here’s a few related things we’re interested in: • Experience implementing or optimising SaaS metrics, billing, or revenue recognition platforms (e.g. ScaleXP, Maxio, SaaSGrid, etc.)., • Experience with Hubspot (our CRM) and Xero, • Familiarity with or interest in FP&A tools and exposure to data visualisation or BI tools: we currently use Xero as our accounting tool and Excel for everything else, but we will continue to complement this with other tools or there may come a time where we need to invest in other ERPs/forecasting software so your interest and knowledge in this area will be key in making those decisions, • Prior involvement in fundraising, investor relations, or board-level reporting.
