Job Title: SEND Teacher Contract Type: Long-term to Permanent Salary: £180-£210 per day (depending on experience) About the Role We are looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring SEND Teacher to join an inclusive and supportive school community. You will play a vital role in teaching and supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their potential both academically and personally. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with passion, creativity, and a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of young people. Key Responsibilities • Plan, deliver, and adapt high-quality lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs)., • Differentiate teaching to ensure accessibility for all learners., • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to develop and implement individual support plans., • Track and assess pupil progress, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place., • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment., • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support learning and wellbeing. About You • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential., • Experience of teaching pupils with SEND (in mainstream or specialist settings)., • Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour management approaches., • A creative and flexible approach to meeting the needs of diverse learners., • Excellent communication and teamwork skills., • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
