Over the course of the programme, you’ll build a solid foundation in both Electronic and Mechanical Engineering, developing the technical and practical skills needed for a successful career in the aerospace industry. Your journey will begin at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET), where you’ll spend your first year completing your academic and practical training. This provides you with the essential engineering principles and workshop experience needed to succeed. From your second year onward, you’ll join Ontic full-time, rotating across departments and gaining valuable exposure to maintenance, assembly, testing, and repair of aircraft components. Throughout the programme, you’ll be supported by experienced engineers, mentors, and development professionals who will guide you every step of the way. You’ll have access to dedicated coaching, structured workshops, and a mentor network to help you grow both technically and personally.
