As our Electrician you'll be responsible for electrical maintenance, installation, repair and fault finding across production, facilities and plant equipment, with a focus on cabling, lighting and other building services. The role aims to minimise downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations with opportunities to expand skills into advanced industrial systems.The Key RequirementsMinimum of apprentice level qualification in electrical disciplineQualified to 18th edition wiring regulationsExperience of fixed wire and PAT testing routines and regulationsAbility to read schematics, wiring diagrams and technical documentsExperience with lighting, power distribution and general cablingExperience of working at height, using harnesses and access equipmentAwareness of high voltage installations (11kv) and appropriate precautions related to itKnowledge of PLCs, servo motors or HV systems desirable (training can be provided)Experience in a fast paced manufacturing or FMCG environment preferredUnderstanding of electrical systems in buildings and production equipmentHours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3.15pm 39.5 hrsAt Encirc, we make, fill and move glassPart of the Vidrala group, we are a market leader in glass container design, manufacturing, bottling and logistics solutions for the UK, Irish and European food and beverages industries.With over 2,000 employees, we operate from our three purpose-built sites: Derrylin, Co Fermanagh; Elton, Cheshire and Bristol.
