The Role: As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring timely payments and reconciliations across multiple systems and entities. Key Responsibilities: • Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, • Manage invoice approvals in line with company procedures, • Handle international invoices, • Maintain accurate records of creditors and outstanding liabilities, • Prepare and process payment runs, including international payments, • Manage corporate credit cards, • Ensure all payments are authorised and recorded correctly, • Process and review employee expenses, • Manage expense platforms, • Ensure compliance with company expense policies, • Perform regular creditor reviews, • Maintain supplier accounts and resolve queries, • Support GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) processes, • Reconcile Shopify and other payment gateways, • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role, • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy, • Good understanding of accounts payable processes, • Proficient in Excel and finance systems, • Salary up to £30,000, • Hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days home), • Option of a 4-day working week (for experienced candidates), • Company pension scheme, • Annual bonus scheme, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (plus holiday purchase scheme), • Birthday day off, • Staff discount Apply now for more information.
