Neighbourhood Officer – Manchester £23 – £26 per hour (umbrella) Full-time, 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday Hybrid working – 3 days on patch 3 month contract initially We are seeking an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join a busy housing team in Manchester. This is a hybrid role requiring a proactive individual to manage a patch of properties, providing a high-quality tenancy and estate management service. Key Responsibilities • Manage a designated patch of properties, acting as first point of contact for tenants, • Deal with low-level anti-social behaviour, tenancy breaches, and estate issues, • Support tenants to sustain their tenancies, with a strong focus on income management and arrears recovery, • Undertake tenancy visits, inspections, and enforcement action where required, • Work collaboratively with colleagues, partner agencies, and residents to improve neighbourhoods, • Previous experience in tenancy management and housing services, ideally with income recovery experience, • Good knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy management, and ASB processes, • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential), • Basic DBS (ideally in place or willingness to obtain), • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, • £23 – £26 umbrella per hour (dependent on experience), • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, • Hybrid working model – 3 days per week on patch, remainder from home If you are interested, please apply to this advert or call Simon Cain or Daniel Judge on 07441 916450
