Care Coordinator Salary: £24,000–£26,000 (DOE) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (flexible, including evenings & weekends) Contract: Permanent Location: Office-based – Uttlesford Recruiting on behalf of a respected home-care organisation. We are working on behalf of a well-established, high-quality home-care provider in Essex who are seeking an organised, proactive, and compassionate Care Coordinator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong care-sector experience who is ready to step into a pivotal coordination and leadership role supporting both staff and service users. As a Care Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring that individuals receiving care experience dignity, independence, and consistency throughout their support. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to deliver a well-structured, compliant and person-centred service. • Care & Service Quality: Coordinate high-quality home-care packages that meet regulatory requirements and company standards., • Assess needs, develop personalised care & support plans, and ensure risk assessments remain current., • Maintain accurate digital records and ensure documentation meets CQC expectations., • Manage new referrals, accept care packages, and support with fee discussions when required., • Investigate complaints, implement corrective actions, and share learning with the wider team., • Contribute to delivering care when necessary and participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota., • Provide supervision, support, and appraisal for care staff., • Create staff rotas via the organisation’s scheduling software., • Monitor performance, sickness, annual leave and competence assessments., • Work alongside the recruitment team to manage staffing needs and attend relevant industry workshops., • Lead and participate in staff meetings, audits, and performance monitoring activities., • Ensure the service meets the requirements of the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014., • Keep up-to-date with CQC legislation and changes., • Promote safeguarding, equality, and safe working practices., • Level 3 (or above) Diploma in Health & Social Care., • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a care/support worker role., • At least 1 year’s experience in a managerial, supervisory or coordinator role within a care setting., • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure., • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal., • Confident IT user (Microsoft Office, digital records)., • Strong people-management ability with a calm, professional approach., • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (business insurance required)., • Flexibility to meet service needs, including evenings/weekends and on-call duties., • Competitive salary with guaranteed contracted hours, • 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays, • Workplace pension scheme, • Paid mileage and travel time, • Free training, mentoring and development, • Opportunities to complete Level 5 Health & Social Care qualifications, • Career progression within a supportive management team, • Access to a staff wellbeing hub, • IT equipment provided to support your role, • Is confident, motivated, and committed to delivering outstanding care., • Enjoys a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same., • Can lead, support and inspire a dispersed care team., • Shows excellent problem-solving ability and communicates well with professionals, families, and service users., • Can work autonomously while being a strong team player. #J-18808-Ljbffr
