Level 3 Teaching Assistant Start Date: Wednesday 2nd September 2026 End Date: Wednesday 21st July 2027 with the view to move onto a permanent contract Location: Bolton – BL2 Contract: Full-time (8.30am-3.30pm) A warm, inclusive, and community-centred primary school in the Bolton (BL2) area is working closely with Teaching Personnel to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS and KS1. This full-time position begins September 2026 and will run for the full academic year, with opportunities for continuation into the next academic year. About the Role As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in ensuring pupils receive engaging, consistent, and well-supported learning. Your responsibilities will include: • Providing high-quality support across EYFS-KS1 classrooms (EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2), • Leading small groups and delivering focused interventions, • Receive training for specific interventions within the school, • Assisting with behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment, • Supporting class teachers with lesson delivery and adapted activities, • Providing occasional classroom cover where required, • Differentiating work to meet the needs of pupils with varying learning abilities, • Working collaboratively with the teaching teams and following school expectations The school prides itself on its nurturing approach and strong staff support network.
