Materials Controller position at Loughton, Essex (site: Debden). Reports to the Materials Control FLM. Responsible for controlling, reconciling, and destroying secure materials, maintaining supply systems, and collaborating with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Production Teams. • Organise, count and record secure substrate waste and spoils, ensuring proper authority., • Monitor and visually inspect products and materials throughout manufacturing to identify and report variances., • Destroy secure substrate (including plates) following policies and procedures., • Maintain accurate records of destroyed secure substrate/plates using computer‑based tracking systems and report deviations., • Assist the Materials Control WTL with investigations., • Support continuous improvement activities., • Attend meetings, briefings, and material reviews, providing feedback. Double day shift pattern – Monday to Friday, 6am‑2pm or 2pm‑10pm (alternated weekly). From 31st August 2026 to 24/5 shift pattern 12‑hour shifts (6am‑6pm or 6pm‑6am, Monday‑Friday rota). Attendance is 40 hours per week on average, including a 30‑minute unpaid break and a 15‑minute unpaid break during the shift. Debden £36,292 per annum on double days, rising to £38,574 per annum on 24/5 shift pattern.
