About the Role As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, offering expert advice, and ensuring compliance with UK tax and accounting standards. You will work closely with individuals and businesses, providing support across tax planning, financial reporting, strategy, and statutory obligations. This is a hands-on role suited to accountants who enjoy building strong client relationships and solving financial challenges within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and financial reports in line with UK regulations. Advise clients on tax planning, budgeting, and business growth strategies. Ensure ongoing compliance with UK tax legislation and accounting standards. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the improvement of internal processes. Deliver exceptional client service through clear communication and responsive support. What Were Looking For A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience working within a UK-based accountancy firm or a similar role. A UK accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks. Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple clients while staying up to date with UK financial legislation.
