The Role: As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing dealership vehicles to a high standard, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction while working safely and efficiently. You will develop and maintain brand-specific expertise as required. In addition, you will ensure that all manufacturer requirements are met, including full compliance with the Care Program and the accurate execution of all scheduled maintenance procedures. Vehicle Technician responsibilities: Protect customer vehicles at all times using appropriate covers (steering wheel, seats, mats, wings, etc.). Maintain a clean, safe workspace and professional appearance in line with manufacturer and company standards. Handle all vehicles with care while on site for service or repair. Road test and diagnose vehicles as instructed, following safety laws and approved test routes. Use brand-specific tools, equipment, and training to maximise efficiency. Communicate with customers when required to support accurate diagnosis and first-time fixes. Carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and general maintenance as required. Thoroughly inspect vehicles and report additional work to the Service Advisor. Accurately record labour, materials, and consumables, working within manufacturer repair times where possible. Ensure vehicles meet safety standards on return, or clearly document outstanding faults. Complete clear, detailed job cards and documentation for invoicing and records. Return exchange and warranty parts promptly, correctly labelled, cleaned, and processed. Use tools, materials, and consumables efficiently, ensuring minimal waste and in-date fluids. Maintain and update all required systems (e.g. ElsaPro, VAS, GEKO). Ensure all job cards and inspection sheets are fully completed, signed, dated, and meet required standards. Maintain workshop equipment in safe working order, ensuring calibration and reporting faults promptly. Check all vehicles for manufacturer recalls or campaigns. Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills to improve efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Follow all health and safety policies and manufacturer technical guidance. Attend required manufacturer training and report equipment issues to management. Support compliance with HSO, SbD, VQM, and CEM standards. Adhere to manufacturer Care Program and maintenance requirements. Our Client is looking for a 360 Grabber driver / 360 Material handler, based in Ruabon/Johnstown. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE USING THE GRAB As a 360 Material Handler you would work within a production/manufacturing environment. Your job as a 360 driver will be to feed a hopper. Good control is required. • Feeding machinery: Loading raw materials into a hopper, (machinery with a large, funnel-shaped container for holding bulk materials). If you care about environmental issues and have good customer service skills, this job could be ideal for you. "Must have indate full 360 licence" In this job you will need a polite manner. It is also ideal to be physically fit as you can be required to lift and carry heavy loads from time to time, operate machinery after training and potentially work in the warehouse. You should have the ability to think on your feet and have initiative to work on your own. Work activities When not required on the 360 Material handler, you would be expected to help the team out with general machine minding or general house keeping. Your job may include: · Operating machinery and setting. · Sorting, selecting products and removing non-recyclable items. · Inspecting materials for any contamination · Disassemble / break down larger products · Cleaning and maintaining equipment · General Housekeeping / familiar with 5S (SORT, SET IN ORDER, SHINE, STANDARDIZE AND SUSTAIN). · Potential general warehouse or packaging duties Working hours Monday to Friday 7am-5pm Temp to perm for the right candidate.
