The Role We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Trade Manager to join our sales team and expand Bridgman’s presence across the UK. While the primary focus will be on developing our interior collections, the successful candidate will also work across all categories to ensure clients receive comprehensive solutions for their projects. This role combines hands-on sales activity with strategic relationship-building, requiring someone who thrives on winning new business, nurturing key accounts, and exceeding sales targets. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the CEO, the Trade Manager will: • Sales & Growth: Drive business growth by acquiring new trade clients, developing pipelines, managing leads, and consistently meeting or exceeding personal sales targets., • Team Leadership: Contribute to the wider trade team’s success by supporting colleagues, sharing expertise, and helping achieve collective sales targets., • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions across all categories., • Category Focus: Lead the expansion of Bridgman’s interior collections while ensuring cross-category opportunities are maximised., • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to strengthen Bridgman’s trade presence across the UK, identifying new channels and opportunities for growth., • Market Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategy and maintain competitive advantage., • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer service, logistics, and other internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience from enquiry through to project completion., • Performance Reporting: Monitor personal and team KPIs, provide accurate reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting to drive decision-making at management level., • Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at client meetings, trade events, and exhibitions, representing Bridgman with professionalism and enthusiasm. You should be commercially minded, customer-focused, and excited by the opportunity to grow both interior and exterior categories across the UK. • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally within luxury or premium sectors., • Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets., • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills., • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)., • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities., • Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects with attention to detail., • Willingness to travel regularly across the UK.
