This fantastic opportunity will be based at our Bakkavor Pizza site in Holbeach St Marks, Lincolnshire. The site specialises in making chilled pizzas and is 11 miles from Spalding, 13.5 miles from Boston, 18 miles from Wisbech, 23 miles from King's Lynn and 29 miles from Peterborough. About the role. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team and site. This role is heavily focused on Planned Preventive Maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Our Maintenance Engineers work as part of a team or standalone, depending on the task. The role reports to the Engineering Teams Manager. Role Accountabilities: Conduct planned maintenance of processing and packaging assets. Conduct predictive maintenance of food processing and packaging assets (condition-based monitoring). Respond to breakdowns. Conduct reactive maintenance or corrective actions to resolve deviation. Identify faults (electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatics) and action as required. Lead or support operational teams with machinery change overs and set ups. Manufacture and repair component parts for processing and packaging assets. Contribute to continuous improvement projects to optimise assets or processes. About you Engineering apprenticeship (C&G / EAL NVQ Level 3 / 4 or OAL FDEM Diploma) Current Edition of IET Wiring Regulations (C&G Level 3, achieve within 12 months). Application of Safety, Health and Environmental legislation and procedures Planning works and writing reports. Verify assets meet performance criteria after work. Reading and adhering to site SOPs. CMMS experience (achieve within 12 months). Electrical bias Experience in the following would be advantageous - Mechanical principles, F&D assets, welding, machining, turning, hydraulic, pneumatic & thermodynamics systems and / or, electrical principals, motors, motor control circuits, motion control, encoders, PLCs, sensors. What we are looking for We are looking for a QC to ensure customer requirements and standards are achieved by providing an effective and efficient quality control service Working hours - 6:30am - 6:30pm on a 4on, 4off shift pattern The Position Undertake quality and label checks in the Packhouse, record findings and highlight any discrepancies to relevant managers Ensure accurate checking of codes/dates/promotional labels Take reference photos to aid in traceability and prove/support with the legal compliance Inspect the quality of finished product and raw material against relevant specifications, and if required, explain the specification to other employees Communicate effectively on quality issues with other internal departments and ensure action is taken promptly Provide our customers with products that meet their specification at all times Support and advise production in relation to quality requirements Work together with the team to implement corrective action to improve the quality of the product to within specification Notify the Team Leader/Management team of any quality or processing issues and to explain what the required quality levels should be as laid out in the customer specifications Keep your work area in a good, clean condition and follow the clean as you go procedure Carry out various audits: glass & plastic, document control, procedure and process, GMP, Shelf Life checks Make sure the product traceability is being followed throughout the process Person specification Previous QC experience within the food industry (preferable) Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work to deadlines Be thorough and have good attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of team and able to follow instructions Why Join Moulton Bulb Company?
