Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator Location: Remote Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £25,750 per annum Reporting to: Head of Recruitment & Onboarding About the Role We’re looking for a highly organised and people-focused Recruitment & Onboarding Coordinator to join our team on a fully remote basis. You’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth, efficient onboarding journey ensuring new hires feel supported from offer through to their first day and beyond. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to reduce time to hire while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. Key Responsibilities • Manage the full onboarding process from offer acceptance to start date, • Coordinate and send offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation, • Liaise with candidates to collect essential checks (DBS, Right to Work, references), • Ensure onboarding timelines are met and delays are proactively managed, • Keep candidates and hiring managers updated throughout the process, • Work closely with internal teams (Recruitment, HR, IT, Payroll), • Support risk assessments relating to references or DBS outcomes, • Maintain accurate records in line with GDPR and company policies, • Produce onboarding reports and track key metrics (e.g. time to hire), • Essential: Experience onboarding candidates, • Experience managing high volumes of vacancies or onboarding processes, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively, • Experience working in a regulated environment (desirable), • Data-driven mindset with the ability to improve processes, • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), • Strong attention to detail, • A proactive, resilient, and approachable personality, • Reduce time to hire to under 25 working days, • Improve onboarding efficiency and candidate engagement, • Reduce candidate drop-out rates during onboarding, • Fully remote role – work from anywhere in the UK, • Be part of a supportive and collaborative team, • Opportunity to make a real impact on the candidate experience, • Work within a values-driven organisation focused on people
