Duties Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote learning and development for children aged 0-5 years. Support the lead nursery staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as safeguarding policies. Requirements Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. A background in early childhood education or relevant qualifications will be an advantage. Strong management and leadership skills to effectively support the nursery team. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding when interacting with young children. A valid driving licence may be beneficial for transporting materials or attending off-site activities.
