Roles and Responsibilities of a Home Care Carer 1. In this role, you will be supporting our service users to live independently in their own home with their activities of daily living, e.g. helping with personal care, medication, accessing the community. Candidates must be attentive, flexible, patient, with the ability to work to a high standard for the duration of duty. We work with a variety of vulnerable adults including elderly, people with learning disabilities, mental health issues as well as those with complex needs e.g. ranging from Brain or Spinal Injuries, Epilepsy, Tracheostomy and Ventilation, to PEG feeding.
