    Are you a hardworking Kitchen Porter or General Assistant with a valid Enhanced DBS certificate looking for flexible temporary work across London? We are currently looking for someone for a period of up to 1 month to work with our client on a Monday to Friday basis from 9.45-13.45 starting immediately. The Role As a Temporary Kitchen Porter / General Assistant, your responsibilities may include: • Assisting kitchen teams with food preparation tasks, • Washing pots, pans, crockery, and kitchen equipment, • Maintaining cleanliness throughout kitchen and service areas, • Assisting with food service and counter service when required, • Receiving and storing deliveries, • Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures, • Supporting catering teams during busy service periods What We're Looking For • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant, General Assistant, or within a hospitality environment, • A valid, in-date Enhanced DBS Certificate (essential), • A positive attitude and strong work ethic, • Reliability, punctuality, and good communication skills, • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, • Understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards If you're looking for flexible work and want to support vital catering services within schools, care homes, and healthcare settings, we'd love to hear from you.
