Active Staff are proud to be working with a Manufacturing business in Andover that are looking to boost the team with an experienced CNC Operator. You will be joining a truly fantastic company who have very little staff turnover and a company who really invests in their staff. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 17:00pm and Friday 8:45am - 15:00pm. The benefits for the CNC Operator: • 25 days holiday + BH, • Up to £30,000kpa, • Flexi holiday (opportunity to buy more holiday), • Monthly social events paid by the company, • Stable company that has very little turnover, • Pension scheme, • On-site parking The role of the CNC Operator: • Set up tools and load materials onto CNC machine, • Carry out machining of components, • Carry out inspection, including first-off inspection to the authorised level, • Identify and report drawing errors and suggest improvements, • Work with managers and supervisors to implement the Company’s policies and business objectives, • Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy, • Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability required Ideal experience of the CNC Operator: • Fully skilled time served engineer/tool maker with CNC milling experience, • CNC setter/operator, • Used to working to fine tolerances with non-ferrous materials, • Able to interpret engineering drawings, • Able to use a wide range of measuring equipment, • HEIDENHAIN experience (desirable), • Able to work under own initiative, • Flexible, courteous, friendly and positive approach, • Discretion, confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Andover £48,000 + Benefits Monday to Friday 25 days holiday + BH Healthcare Job description: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Our client a leading manufacturer is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with an excellent eye for detail and a passion for quality to join their team in Andover. Roles and responsibilities Perform electrical, controls, and basic mechanical maintenance including planned and reactive maintenance activities, and implementing any upgrades or modifications required Record all relevant data, including any relevant refurbishment and overhauls that are required. Support the operations teams by developing training materials Work alongside other teams to identify solve problems. Continually improve equipment maintenance strategies Analyse PLC faults and diagnose external faults using various software programsRequirements Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer, with a /NVQ3 in electrical engineering or equivalent Ability to work a 3-shift rotation pattern. Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the FMCG sector. Excellent knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment, with experience working in production lines, warehouses and distribution centres Strong understanding of PLC control system architecture and field control devices.
