These are rewarding opportunities for teachers who are committed to supporting pupils with ASD and additional complex needs, either within a specialist setting or supporting children across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in a mainstream environment.\n\nKey Details:\n Location: SEN school in Colchester, Essex\n Start Date: September 2026\n Contract: Permanent\n Salary: M1 to UPS2 + SEN allowance \n Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday\n Key Stages: EY, KS1 and KS2\n\nThe Role:\n\nPlan and deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEN\nSupport children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (role flexibility available)\nCreate a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment\nPromote pupils' academic, social, and emotional development\nWork closely with SENCOs, class teachers, therapists, and support staff\nLead classroom routines and contribute to the wider school community\nEnsure high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practiceThis is a fantastic opportunity in a school with a strong, supportive leadership teams and a clear focus on pupil wellbeing, progress, and independence.
