Assistant Butcher – Full Time Location: Fable Stores, Loughton IG10 Hours: 35–40 hours per week Schedule: 5–6 days per week We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Butcher to join our team and support our Head Butcher with the day-to-day preparation of meat orders. This role focuses primarily on preparing orders. Full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to learn all aspects of the role, including meat preparation, portioning, packing and general butchery operations. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently., • Assist with trimming, portioning and preparing meat products., • Support the Head Butcher with daily preparation and production tasks. • Learn and follow correct procedures for handling, storing and preparing meat., • Keep preparation and storage areas clean, organised and hygienic. The Ideal Candidate • Previous butchery or food preparation experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided., • Willingness to learn all aspects of meat preparation and order fulfilment., • Comfortable with practical, hands-on work., • Reliable , organised and able to work effectively as part of a team., • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Turkish-speaking skills are an advantage., • Flexible to work 35–40 hours per week across 5–6 days.
