Description • Process import documentation accurately and in a timely manner., • Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure compliance with regulations., • Monitor shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders., • Maintain accurate records of import activities and related costs., • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customs clearance., • Ensure all import operations adhere to industry regulations and company policies., • Assist in preparing reports related to logistics and import activities. The successful Interim Import Clerk should have: • Previous experience in import operations within the logistics or FMCG industry., • Strong knowledge of customs procedures and import documentation requirements., • Proficiency in using logistics and shipping software tools., • Excellent organisational and time-management skills., • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving., • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
