QA Technician / QA Officer 12-Month Fixed Term Contract We are supporting a pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in the search for a QA Technician / QA Officer to join their site on a 12-month fixed term contract. There is a strong chance this role will go permanent. This opportunity would suit someone with experience in a regulated quality environment who is looking to further develop their career within quality assurance in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will support a range of QA activities across production and quality operations, helping to ensure documentation, processes and products remain compliant with regulatory and internal quality standards. Key responsibilities: • Review completed batch records, manufacturing documentation and analytical paperwork, • Support QA activities across manufacturing and quality operations, • Assist with change controls, deviations, CAPAs and validation-related activities, • Review and approve SOPs, specifications, manufacturing procedures and associated quality documents, • Support incoming material and final product disposition activities, • Identify and escalate any cGMP or quality compliance concerns, • Support new product or campaign introductions from a QA perspective, • Participate in audit preparation and support internal, supplier and customer audits, • Assist with regulatory inspection readiness activities, • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Quality Control, Compliance and Production Requirements: • Degree qualified in a relevant scientific discipline, or equivalent industry experience, • At least 1.5 years’ experience within a regulated quality environment, • Experience gained within pharmaceuticals, medical devices, ISO, GLP or cGMP manufacturing would be considered, • Previous exposure to quality documentation review in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, • Able to work effectively across multiple teams and communicate confidently with stakeholders, • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work, • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively, • Comfortable escalating issues where required and supporting continuous compliance The opportunity: • 12-month contract with a well-established manufacturing environment, • Strong exposure to day-to-day QA operations in a regulated setting, • Opportunity to work across a range of quality systems and cross-functional activities, • Suitable for someone looking to build on existing QA experience in industry
