Initially, your responsibilities will include: • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, • Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, • Producing management accounts, • Corporation tax and personal tax compliance, • Supporting clients with Xero and other cloud accounting software, • Client onboarding and cloud system set-up, • Communicating directly with clients and answering queries, • Supporting the senior team with advisory work Over time, the role will develop into managing your own client portfolio and acting as a trusted adviser to business owners. About You We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and enjoys working closely with clients. You should have: • Minimum 3 years experience working in an accountancy practice, • Experience preparing accounts for limited companies, • Experience with VAT returns and management accounts, • Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ideally you will also be: • ACCA / ACA qualified or studying, • Xero certified (preferred but not essential), • Familiar with practice software such as IRIS Most importantly, you will enjoy building relationships with clients and helping businesses succeed.
