Legal Paralegal (Contract Management Project) \n Location: Remote (following initial induction)Contract: Temporary (4-6 weeks initially)Rate: Competitive Hourly RateStart Date: ASAP \n About the Opportunity \n An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Paralegal to join a growing international business on a short-term project within its Legal team. \n This role will support the implementation of a new legal document management and contract tracking system. Working closely with the legal function, you will be responsible for reviewing existing commercial agreements, extracting key contractual information and ensuring accurate migration of legal data into a new platform. \n This is an excellent opportunity for a future trainee solicitor, paralegal, legal assistant or recent law graduate looking to gain valuable in-house legal experience while working on a high-profile legal operations project. \n The role can be undertaken remotely following an initial induction period. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Review a large volume of commercial contracts and legal documents\n, • Extract and record key contractual information including:\n \n, • Parties\n, • Contract terms\n, • Renewal dates\n, • Termination provisions\n, • Key obligations and risks\n \n, • Populate and maintain a new legal document management system\n, • Support contract migration and data cleansing activities\n, • Ensure legal records are accurate, consistent and complete\n, • Assist with document organisation and contract database management\n, • Support the Legal team with ad hoc administrative and legal tasks where required\n, • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately\n\n About You \n We are keen to speak with candidates who have a legal background and are comfortable reviewing contractual documentation. \n Suitable candidates may include: \n\n • Future trainee solicitors\n, • LPC, FE1, SQE or law graduates\n, • Commercial paralegals\n, • Legal assistants\n, • In-house legal support professionals\n\n Essential Skills & Experience \n\n • Law degree or relevant legal qualification\n, • Ability to review and understand commercial contracts\n, • Strong attention to detail\n, • Excellent organisational skills\n, • Confident working independently\n, • Strong written and verbal communication skills\n, • Comfortable managing large volumes of documentation\n, • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word\n\n Desirable Experience \n\n • Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience\n, • Experience working with contract management systems\n, • Exposure to commercial contracts\n, • In-house legal experience\n, • Experience supporting legal operations or document management projects\n\n What’s on Offer? \n\n • Immediate start opportunity\n, • Flexible and predominantly remote working\n, • Exposure to an in-house legal team\n, • Valuable experience working on a legal technology implementation project\n, • Opportunity to develop contract review and legal operations experience\n, • Potential for further temporary assignments depending on business requirements\n\n This role would suit a candidate who is detail-oriented, methodical and comfortable working through contracts to identify and extract key information accurately.
