Site Maintenance Operative / CaretakerLocation: HampshireSalary: £28,712 - £29,918 per annum (including shift allowance)Contract: Permanent, Full TimeStart Date: ASAPHays Education is working with a well-established Multi-Academy Trust in Hampshire to recruit a proactive and reliable Site Maintenance Operative to join their Estates team.This is a varied and rewarding role supporting multiple educational settings across the trust. No two days are the same. One day you could be carrying out maintenance repairs, decorating classrooms, maintaining outdoor spaces, or assisting with site security and lettings. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring school environments remain safe, secure, and welcoming for staff, students, and visitors.Key Responsibilities: Carry out general maintenance and repair work across multiple school sites. Complete painting and decorating tasks. Undertake basic carpentry, fencing, ground maintenance, and minor repairs. Operate ground maintenance equipment and power tools safely.
