Your new role As a Housing Officer, you will oversee housing and tenancy management services within a defined area of approximately 350 properties. Your responsibilities will include: • Managing lettings and allocations, ensuring efficient void turnaround., • Overseeing income management, including rent collection and arrears prevention., • Handling tenancy and estate management issues, including anti-social behaviour and safeguarding., • Acting as a single point of contact for residents, resolving queries promptly., • At least 2 years' experience in social housing or a similar customer-focused environment., • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations., • Knowledge of housing law and current housing issues., • IT literacy and good numeracy skills., • A relevant qualification in Customer Service or Housing (desirable)., • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
